Shipping Costs, Warehousing and Margins

Who typically pays for the shipping cost of pallets or Truckloads? If you sell to distributor or wholesaler, do they pay shipping? What is the typical freight charge for a pallet and truckload, 12OZ PET?

What is the average cost for warehouse space per pallet? Does $4.00 per pallet per month sound right?

If MSRP of product is $2.48, what is considered a good margin? Is 0.42 cost of goods considered high, low or good?

Your price should be "delivered price". You have to pay.

There is no typical charge for freight. It depends where you are and where you ship, weight, etc.

$4 is great if you can get it. It's a super price for rent.

$2.48 is super high unless it's an organic drink.

$.42 is very high for 12 oz.

Its a hybrid (energy plus nutraceuticals) plus organic cane sugar for sweetner.

If you're using organic cane sugar I'm assuming the entire product is going to be organic, correct?

If the other ingredients aren't organic maybe you should just consider using natural cane sugar instead. just my 2 cents.
